Scanned versions of our published soil maps and books now available

Looking for a published soil map or book? Many of our published soil maps and books are also available as JPG/PDF scans. Scanned books cost the same as the hard copy (without the P&P cost). The cost of scanned versions of the maps vary depending on the scale and area covered, please contact us for a price.

You can search for available publications and maps using our Online Catalogue. When you identify the map and/or book of interest, please contact landis@cranfield.ac.uk so we can check if a scanned version is available. Thank you for your support.

Soil-related publications

Cranfield Environment Centre (CEC), incorporates the National Soil Resources Institute (NSRI) at Cranfield University, and the earlier Soil Survey and Land Research Centre (SSLRC) and, as a result, maintains all the published and unpublished paper soil reports and maps for England and Wales. CEC market a wide range of paper maps, books, technical reports and articles associated with soil and land-use management.
